Ideal candidate must possess a knowledge of all major government accounting functions, knowledge of public budgeting practices including TABOR, strong communication skills, strong leadership ability, essential ability to work well with all members of DFRA, ability to maintain tact and courtesy in a high stress environment. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field. Must have a minimum of 5 years of professional level accounting and financial management work, 3 years of supervisory/management experience in a leadership position. CPA preferred.
